ROI Calculator Sign Cabinet Overview

One Rail, Any Cabinet

The Midi Stick is an aluminum I-beam rail that comes in 8-foot lengths you cut to size on site. Once cut, any TMT Midi family module — Midi 4, Midi 3, or Midi Edge-lit — snaps directly into the rail with no tape, screws, or glue. Because one stock length fits every job, shops can light any size cabinet, single or double-sided, without carrying an inventory of pre-made stick sizes. Source: TMT LEDs USA.

1. Cut to Length

Cut the 8 ft rail to your cabinet dimension on site. No pre-survey needed — stock rails and bags of modules cover any job.

2. Snap In Modules

Midi family modules snap into the I-beam channel. Slide modules closer together for a brighter cabinet, or farther apart for standard output.

3. Install

Mount the populated stick in the cabinet. The rigid I-beam profile installs horizontally with no sag in the middle, even at long spans.

Built for Retrofits

For retrofit work, New Construction connectors join rail segments back to back — for example, connecting a 2 ft piece to an 8 ft length to replace 10 ft fluorescent lamps. Outfit a truck with 8 ft sticks and bags of modules and virtually any cabinet can be retrofitted without a site survey first. Source: TMT LEDs USA.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Midi Stick?

The Midi Stick is an aluminum I-beam rail system for installing TMT Midi series LED modules in sign cabinets. It ships in 8 ft lengths that are cut to size on site, and modules snap into the rail without tape, screws, or glue. Source: TMT LEDs USA.

Which modules snap into the Midi Stick?

The Midi family: the Midi 4 Game Changer and Midi 3 Game Player for face lighting, and the Midi Edge-lit for perimeter edge lighting.

Can I make a cabinet brighter with the same stick?

Yes. Modules slide along the I-beam channel, so you can position them closer together for higher output or spread them out for standard output — without changing rails or hardware.

How do I replace 10 ft fluorescent lamps?

Join a 2 ft piece of Midi Stick to an 8 ft length using two New Construction connectors back to back. This lets standard 8 ft stock cover 10 ft lamp positions in retrofit cabinets. Source: TMT LEDs USA.
