Frequently Asked Questions
What do the lumen tables show?
They show the published TMT reference lumen output for Midi 4 (24V) and Midi 3 (12V) installations in sign cabinets from 24 to 120 inches long, with separate values for single-sided and double-sided cabinets.
Why are single and double-sided values different?
A double-sided cabinet has two illuminated faces, so it requires roughly twice the light of a single-sided cabinet of the same size, which changes the module layout and total output.
Which module should I use for my cabinet?
The Midi 4 (250-300 Lm per module, RevA, 12V/24V) is the high-output choice; the Midi 3 (225 Lm, 12V) is the economical choice with a 7-year warranty. Both mount on the Midi Stick. For edge-lit cabinets, use the Midi Edge-lit instead.
How do the tables help with retrofits?
When replacing fluorescent lamps, match the LED configuration whose table output meets or exceeds the existing lamp output for your cabinet size — see the Retrofit Guide for the full process.
